# Styling Forms

Match your form to your brand by adjusting its colors, typography, spacing, and logo

Use the form assistant to describe how you want your form to look. You can request one change at a time or describe several related changes in the same message.

For example:

> Use a white background, dark blue text, and orange buttons.

> Give the form a clean, modern appearance with centered content and slightly rounded corners.

### Change your form’s colors

You can customize colors throughout the form, including:

* Page background
* Headings, questions, and supporting text
* Navigation buttons and the progress bar
* Answer fields and response choices
* Borders
* Error messages

Describe the colors you want using color names or hex codes, or upload/paste an image for the form assistant to identify your brand colors.

> Change the background to light gray, use #153B50 for the text and buttons, and use the colors from this image for the rest of the form.

Choose colors with enough contrast to keep questions, instructions, and controls easy to read.

### Choose a font

Ask the form assistant to change the font or adjust the overall text size.

> Use Montserrat throughout the form and make the text slightly larger.

Rooks supports the following fonts:

* System fonts: Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, Georgia, Times New Roman, Courier New, and system-ui
* Google fonts: Inter, Roboto, Open Sans, Lato, Montserrat, Poppins, Source Sans Pro, Nunito, Raleway, Playfair Display, Merriweather, Lora, PT Serif, Fira Code, and JetBrains Mono

### Add your logo

Add your organization’s logo to make the form more recognizable. Rooks supports logos in PNG and JPEG format.

PNG is a good choice for logos with transparent backgrounds. After uploading your logo, check it in **Preview** to make sure it remains clear against the form’s background.

### Adjust spacing, alignment, and corners

You can also ask the form assistant to change the overall layout and shape of the form.

For example:

> Add more space between the form elements.

> Center the form content.

> Make the corners less rounded.

These settings apply consistently across the form, helping its pages feel like part of the same experience.
