# Welcome to Rooks

Rooks helps you create and manage HIPAA-compliant forms by describing what you need in plain language.

The form assistant builds the initial form and helps you refine its questions, pages, follow-up logic, and appearance. You review the result before publishing it for your responders.

### How Rooks works

1. **Create your form**

   Describe the intake process, who will complete the form, and what information you need. You can also provide an existing document or image as source material.
2. **Review and customize**

   Review the form’s pages and questions. Ask the form assistant to change wording, response choices, required questions, page order, follow-up logic, or appearance.
3. **Preview and publish**

   Preview the customer experience and test each path through the form. When the form is ready, publish it and share the live link.
4. **Manage responses**

   Review submitted information, find individual responses, and download response data.
